Have You Ever Had a Crazy Dream?
We did. It went something like: Students all over the world taking a stand for a worthy cause. People working together towards "the preservation of life, the universe, and everything." No hurdles to stand in our way.
That was the dream part. Now for the CRAZY part. They are all racing around with their shopping carts. Students of all kinds- young, old, thin, chubby, yellow, black, white, brown, purple, green, orange! In spite of their differences, they are a community. A community that cares for the world that they live in.
Our crazy dream came true:
"...we were willing to take a stand for
the environment. We were willing to risk the label of Social Outcast, we were
willing to give up time after school and effort that could have gone into a
thousand other things. What matters is that we are working to ensure the
environmental safety of this world, against the odds: wind, rain, red tape, and
really, really nasty puddles of old soda." - Sam Smith
