Rants and Raves

RANTS
Rants and Raves - Why do we have to be negative about half the things we experience in life? Why can’t we just all be positive, contributing members of society?
RAVES
Contributing Members of Society - I think these people are pretty cool. This is especially true if they are positive, contributing members of society.
Repetition - Hey, it drives home a point. Hardcore English novelists use it, why can't we?
UGC (Ungarbage Crew) - I think saving the world one orange bin at time is a noble idea. =]
The Sports Section - The sports section is ALWAYS amazing. Do you know why? It is because Sports has an awesome editor. Next best is Literature and Art, followed by Op-Ed, and of course the front page coming in a close last with all the other sections in between.
Bias - Humans have always had slanted views; see where it has gotten us!
Honors and AP Classes - I like them because sleep is just that much over rated.
School Loop - This way I am not screwed when I forget to write my Chemistry homework down.
Block Scheduling - The bells are further spaced apart so I can enjoy my naps.
Junk Food Ban - If it were not for the junk food ban, I would not know that barbeque chips, pizza, Gatorade, and a cookie are all part of a nutritious lunch.
Sony Star - I think it is cool that after you put your life in a portfolio, a group of people get to decide whether your life has any merit.
CAHSEE - I like tests where the hardest part is spelling the test name.
CCOC Lecture - Several of us got free pens.
Weighted Grades - It makes me above perfect even though I do not get straight A's.
English Class - I did not realize that I was so deprived of the English language until I learned the meaning of the word abhor.
Sanjaya Malakar - Since he is considered an American Idol with his voice, I am thinking about having my friend William Hung tryout again next year.
*Gender - This was a great invention to make half of us better than the other.
Nintendo - When one of your main products is called the Wii and the other has the motto “Touching is good,” what is there not to love?
YouTube - Now propaganda is free and hipster.
Sadie Hawkins Dance - Now girls know what it feels like to get rejected.
*Remington Wong - Working with him softens the blow for when I go to Hell.
Wilcox Tutoring Program - Now community service is as easy as waking up early.
*Fantastics - We all need a cheap laugh at the expense of the classes below us.
Alternative Café - I was getting tired of the Normal Café.
Heroes - I like watching shows that take month long breaks in the middle of the season.
*Heather Mills - She seems like a good dancer on Dancing With the Stars, but her competition seems to have the leg up on her.
VH1 - It's good to see these one-time celebrities getting work somewhere.
Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? - The only thing that can make this show better is if you took the contestants' brains out and compared it to someone who is a fifth grader.
The People Taking Time to Read This Article - It probably means you have a lot of free time or you really care about me, but either way, I less than three you. =]
